Hi, my name is Reina Kato. I’m 23 years old. I have been here for six months. I am still studying English because my purpose is to find my dream, to have independence and to know me. That is why I came Australia.
To tell the truth, I didn’t have clear dreams and I didn’t know what I really wanted to do through job hunting. However, my parents gave me the chance to go and study abroad. If my parents hadn’t suggested that, I wouldn’t have come here. I really would like to say “Thank you” to them.
I have experienced a lot of things. For example, I’m learning about myself. When I live in Japan, I really didn’t know me well because I relied on my parents and friends. However, now I can’t rely on someone because it is my life and I have decided my way and I have to go my way. I think this is an important thing. In addition, if I have a problem my parents and friends support me. I am very happy about that.
I could know myself through my Australian life. If I hadn’t come Australia, I might not have learnt about that. In the future, I would like to work in welfare, because I want to support people if they worry about something.
Now, I have been studying to improve my English skills and also job skills. I hope it can affect happen in the near the future. When I come back to Japan, I want to become an independent person.
Thank you.
